It is fun to experiment with new and different recipes in your kitchen. When I designed “Hey! You Got Balls” I wanted to design a cookbook that would excite and inspire your family and friends to get in the kitchen and enjoy cooking.
“Hey! You Got Balls” is all about having a variety of foods from Italian to Greek, Asian to Southern, and everything in between. The book is all about making your favorite foods. If you are a meat lover, I have the recipe for you. If you are a vegetarian, I have that too. If you just want dessert, that is okay, too. From Mac & Cheese to Decadent sweets, made into ball shapes with incredible dipping sauces that are both appealing to the pallet as well as the eye. I call it “theme foods” fun for parties as well as meals for your family.
Simplicity is the key to fun cooking and by all means you do not have to be loyal to only one kind of food. The most important thing is being able to make your favorite foods whenever you want. Not just dusting off your cookbooks for the holidays and special occasions.
At the end of the day, hopefully we can all learn one thing. That is to share. My biggest beef in life is, when someone makes something really great and won’t share the recipe. Like it is in a time capsule, waiting to be unveiled in a different time period. Share your foods and enjoy your family recipes with the people around you. Let people leave your home with a part of you. Whether it is your grandma’s apple pie or the secret Italian sauce passed down in your family. Enjoy others and let them enjoy you.
